形態特徵

• Pseudobulbs connected by short rhizomes, conic-ovoid, globose or clavate, sometimes oblique or compressed, 1-3 cm tall, ca. 1-2 cm thick, with 2-3 nodes, covered by scarious sheaths.
• Leaves linear, 20-40 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, apex acuminate, attenuate, sulcate toward base, plicate, mainly 3-nerved, false stem below articulation 5-6 cm long.
• Peduncle arising from upper node of pseudobulb, erect, to 35 cm long, greenish and decorated with dark spots, 2-3 sheathed below, sheath tubular, 6 cm long; rachis ca. 10-15 cm long, with 10-30 flowers; bracts ovate-lanceolate, 5 mm long, 1 mm wide, acute; pedicel and ovary ascending, 8-12 mm long, glabrous. Flowers brownish yellow; sepals spreading, subequal, sometimes with short dark purple stripes, dorsal one lanceolate, 8-9 mm long, 1.5-2 mm wide, acute, lateral ones slightly oblique, slightly descendent-arcuate; petals erect, close to dorsal sepal, elongate oblong, 7-8 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, apex acute; lip erect on base of column, pale yellow or nearly white, cuneate, saccate at base, 6-7 mm long, 3 mm wide, 3-lobed from near base, lateral lobes erect beside column, falcate-linear, 5 mm long, 0.6 mm wide, apex obtuse, midlobe reflexed, obovate-rectangular, 5 mm long, 3 mm wide, apex truncate and undulate, white, with dark purple spots, disc with yellow plate-like conduplicate lamella running from base to middle of midlobe, lamella 3 mm long, connate below but divergent above; column 5 mm long, pale yellow, with purple dots on ventral side, base with an elongate triangular cavity opposite to saccate base of lip; anther ovate-orbicular, 0.7 mm across.

分布

• 台灣 : forests, 2,000-3,000 m in cental and southern mountains.
